It is a well-known assertion that we are a product of the environment in which we grow, impacted by the leaders and mentors that shape our life, and the investment of time, effort, and resources of the people that care about us most. The hope - that we find success and accomplish our goals - whatever that might mean for each individual. For young elite athletes that have a well supported journey, the goal of caregivers and their support system is to give them an edge, to give them tools that help set them apart, and to find ways away from the game itself that promote optimal performance when those young athletes get their chance. The challenge is one that is universal for us all – finding balance in a increasingly pressure packed society. For young athletes, especially those competing at the highest levels at young ages, that balance is non-existent in a traditional school environment due to amount of time and effort dedicated to their sport over and above what is typical for a child of their age.
Sisu Soccer Academy provides a full service, comprehensive approach to youth development for young soccer players that have the desire, willingness, talent and passion to compete at the highest levels available within their journey. A focused academic curriculum that is the gold standard in education for the core subject areas, a tailored elective curriculum the focuses on the specific needs and wants of an elite athlete, paired with daytime training and physical development that supplements competitive soccer training in the evenings – provides a full circle approach to the needs of a young athlete wanting to excel at the next level.
